According to Los Angeles police, sometime before 10 p.m. and midnight, officers were called to a Reseda residence on an assault with a deadly weapon call. Firm says new Stuxnet

(CBS/AP) LONDON – Computer security firm Kaspersky says it has discovered a new batch of malicious software linked to the infrastructure-wrecking Stuxnet virus. In a statement Thursday the Moscow-based company said it had found a virus dubbed “Gauss” which it said was aimed at stealing financial information from its mainly Middle Eastern victims. Kaspersky Lab ZAO said that the newly-discovered virus shared similarities in terms of structure and 홀덤 포커 operation with Flame, a program aimed at vacuuming information from target computers. Flame in turn shared similarities with Stuxnet, a program experts believe was designed to sabotage Iran’s disputed nuclear program. Both pieces of malicious software have been attributed to the U.S. and Israeli governments. Kaspersky’s statement said that all three viruses likely came from the same “factory” or “factories.” In a “60 Minutes” broadcast in March, correspondent Steve Kroft reported that Stuxnet was first detected and isolated by a tiny company in Belarus after one of its clients in Iran complained about a software glitch in June of 2010. Within a month, a copy of the computer bug was being analyzed within a tight knit community of computer security experts, and it appeared to be the first salvo in a new era of warfare. In June, a new virus called “Flame”, was unleashed. It was a massive, data-slurping cyberweapon circulating in the Middle East, and computers in Iran...

(CBS) “So You Think You Can Dance” has reached a point when eliminations are almost anticlimactic. The male and female dancers who are cut won’t be competing on the hit Fox show any more, but they aren’t gone for good. They will rejoin the group for the U.S. tour this fall and proibably be back on TV as All Stars. (SPOILER ALERT) Pictures: “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 8 At least, that’s what executive producer and head judge Nigel Lythgoe said as he told Mitchell and Clarice that it was time for them to go. He said the decision had been unanimous and praised the work of both. Also in the bottom four this week and spared elimination were Ricky and Jordan. The highlight of the rather dull show was a quirky ballet performance by Daniil Simkin, a Russian-born soloist with the American Ballet Theater. He put a contemporary spin on “Les Bourgeois” by Jacques Brel. The other performance – rather lackluster – was Snoop Dogg with Blush, the reality TV-based pan Asian girl band. For the second night, host Cat Deeley hyped next week’s guests on the judging panel – director Rob Marshall and pop singer Lady Gaga. (We have a whole week to wonder what she will be wearing.) All-Stars dancing next week will be Ivan, Jaimie, Anya and Pasha, Lauren G., Neil, Ade, and...
