In the statement, Isaac writes he’s coming forward because the statute of limitations has passed on the crime and because he says Rosemond named him as an informant in a federal drug case against Rosemond. (Read Rosemond’s statement about cocaine charges here.) In 2008, Rosemond told MTV News he had no involvement in the 1994 robbery. Shakur thought otherwise. On his posthumously released album, “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory,” in the song “Against All Odds,” Shakur says, “And did I mention promise to pay back Jimmy Henchman in due time/ I know you b**ch n***as is listenin’, the world is mine/ Set me up, wet me up, n***as stuck me up/ Heard the guns bust, but you tricks never shut me up.” The Quad shooting was the beginning of a feud between East Coast and West Coast rappers that resulted in the 1996 death of Shakur and 1997 death of  Notorious B.I.G. On Saturday and Sunday, Shafiq goes head-to-head against the Brotherhood’s candidate, Mohammed Morsi, in the presidential run-off

Updated 5:44 p.m. ET (CBS/AP) CAIRO – Egypt’s highest court on Thursday ordered the country’s Islamist-dominated parliament dissolved and ruled that the last prime minister to serve under Hosni Mubarak could stay in the presidential race, twin blows to the Muslim Brotherhood that could sweep away its political gains since Mubarak’s ouster 16 months ago. The rulings by the Supreme Constitutional Court, whose judges are Mubarak appointees, escalated the power struggle between the Brotherhood and the military, which stepped in to rule after Mubarak’s fall. The decisions tip the contest dramatically in favor of the ruling generals, robbing the Brotherhood of its power base in parliament and boosting Ahmad Shafiq, the former Mubarak prime minister who many see as the military’s favorite in the presidential contest against the Brotherhood’s candidate. Senior Muslim Brotherhood leader and lawmaker Mohammed el-Beltagy said the rulings amounted to a “full-fledged coup.” “This is the Egypt that Shafiq and the military council want and which I will not accept no matter how dear the price is,” he wrote on his Facebook page. On the eve of pivotal elections that could decide their economic fate, the win gave ordinary Greeks a chance to exhibit a little in-your-face swagger, thumb their nose at Europe and push back at being painted as the continent’s deadbeats

(AP) ATHENS, Greece – Amid the gloom of a political and economic crisis, 블랙 잭 룰 Greece’s gutsy 1-0 win over heavily-favored Russia to advance to the Euro 2012 quarterfinals has at last given the country’s crisis-weary citizens something to cheer about. Thousands poured into Athens’ central Omonia Square on Saturday waving Greek flags, lighting green and red flares and setting off firecrackers amid the din of hundreds of honking cars and renditions of the national anthem in a spontaneous outpouring of patriotic fervor. Clouds of acrid smoke wafted through the square as motorcyclists spun their tires. Shirtless revelers danced in the street, halting traffic, but motorists caught up in the celebratory atmosphere weren’t all that bothered, blasting their horns in approval. On the eve of pivotal elections that could decide their economic fate, the win gave ordinary Greeks a chance to exhibit a little in-your-face swagger, thumb their nose at Europe and push back at being painted as the continent’s deadbeats. The victory was all that much sweeter because it came in true underdog style, bringing back memories of Greece’s improbable run eight years ago. “The result is a message to politicians, to everyone that Greece won’t die and never bows to anyone,” said Chris Mbogosian, 62. “Greeks have heart and they show it when things get tough, we pull together in times of crisis,” said 29-year-old Vasilis...
