But Cuomo, who has raised some $30 million for the race, will be tough opponent to beat

The governor, who was first elected in 2010, is running for 해외 야구 생중계 a third term. Cuomo faced a stronger-than-expected primary challenge from progressive academic Zephyr Teachout in 2014. He is thought of as a potential candidate for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020. First, however, he’ll have to fend off Nixon, who has largely left acting for activism in recent years. Her announcement video does not mention Cuomo by name, but does knock “politicians who care more about headlines and power than they do about us.” More in Bill de Blasio “We are now the most unequal state in the entire country,” Nixon says in the ad, “with both incredible wealth and extreme poverty.” De Blasio backed Cuomo in the 2014 primary despite their frequent sparring. “We all fell on the floor of the bus, and people were crying for help,” said Khan, while receiving treatment at a local hospital

(AP) PESHAWAR, Pakistan – A bomb tore through a bus carrying government employees and other civilians in northwestern Pakistan on Friday, killing 19 people in an attack that served as a reminder of the continued militant threat facing the country despite a significant drop in violence over the past year, officials said. The bus was near the city of Peshawar when the bomb planted inside it exploded, almost completely destroying the back half of the colorfully decorated vehicle. The dead included seven women, said senior police officer Sajad Khan. Another 42 people were wounded in the explosion, he said. U.S. intelligence believes the weapons are intended to re-supply or 실전바둑이게임 beef up the defenses at Russia’s naval base in Syria. The move, while not necessarily an indication of new military support for the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad, comes amid increasingly tense U.S.-Russia relations regarding the Syria crisis. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton this week issued harsh words over Russia’s refusal to take tougher measures on Syria, though her accusation that Russia “dramatically” escalated the crisis in Syria lost steam Thursday when the State Department acknowledged the helicopters she accused Moscow of sending were actually refurbished ones already owned by the Assad regime. The claim had complicated the Obama administration’s larger goals for Syria and U.S.-Russia relations. Russia: No talks on Syria’s future without Assad Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement Friday that Moscow is only providing Syria with defensive weapons, adding that the refurbishment of the helicopters supplied many years ago had been planned in advance. Also Friday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denied Thursday’s statement by State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland that Moscow and Washington “are continuing to talk about a post-Assad transition strategy,”...
