(CBS/AP) BEIRUT – The United States accused the Syrian government of using “new horrific tactics” Monday, as U.N. observers reported Syrian helicopters were firing on rebellious areas and 산청출장안마 concerns mounted that civilians were trapped in besieged cities. Violence in Syria has spiked in recent weeks, as both sides ignore an internationally brokered cease-fire that was supposed to go into effect April 12 but never took hold. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said U.N. monitors and opposition forces have expressed concern that the regime was preparing for an assault in Latakia province, which could result in a “potential massacre” and where U.N. monitors have been impeded. (CBS/AP) WASHINGTON – The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled against the estate of Anna Nicole Smith in its fight to capture some of the $1.6 billion estate left behind by her late Texas billionaire husband. The high court on Thursday ruled that a bankruptcy court’s decision to give the now-deceased actress, model and Playboy Playmate $475 million from the estate of oil tycoon J.
