Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler admitted after the 1-0 win over Tuks that it was a vital three points.

Bucs were in control of the game throughout, but had to wait until the 70th minute before they found their winner via Thabo Matlaba.

Tinkler was delighted to get a Arsenal Fußballtrikots second consecutive victory in the Absa Premiership as his side climbed to seventh in the standings.

“It was a fantastic performance from the boys. We played with the right intensity today,” Tinkler said.

“We had a lot of possession this game, but I thought in the first half we could have passed the ball a little but quicker to the wide areas. They were giving us a lot of space out there.

“I knew if we kept doing the things we were doing, we would eventually find the goal, and we did that. I’m happy BVB Fußballtrikots for the boys. Hopefully we’ve turned the corner now.

“It was important for us to get the points and get back-to-back wins.

“We’ve got another tough game coming up against Sundowns and obviously we want to collect three points there, but today the three points were massively important for us.”
