Bieber learned of Routh’s story after her mother started a “Get Avalanna to Meet Justin Bieber” campaign on Facebook, according to CBS affiliate WBZ-Boston. Routh is a huge fan of the pop star, and earned the moniker “Mrs. Bieber” after “marrying” him in a pretend ceremony last year.
Routh and Bieber played board games and ate cupcakes and candy during their visit. She even got to run her fingers through his famous locks, according to the report.
“That was one of the best things I have ever done,” he tweeted. “She was AWESOME. Feeling really inspired right now.”
Routh has been battling AT/RT since she was nine months old, WBZ-Boston reports. There is no known cure for the disease.
