This transformation has made her the subject of many attacks on the internet. But the singer told Billboard, “My intention was never to transform into a different person. What other people think of me is none of my business. Sometimes, it hurts my feelings. But I have to just keep going.”

Del Rey will appear on “SNL” this Saturday, Jan. 15, on NBC with host Daniel Radcliffe.

“I definitely think it’s an honor. I don’t think they’ve ever had anyone [perform] who didn’t even have a record out, so I do appreciate it,” she said to MTV.

She is also confirmed to be on “Late Night with David Letterman” on Feb. 2 and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in the same month. In addition, Del Rey is Billboard’s cover girl this month.
