Has any team in World Cup history ever been as excited about the usually meaningless third-place play-off as South Korea? Probably not, but the Koreans’ passion, ignited by a wonderful tournament and stoked by their exuberant fans, is more than justified. Their coach Guus Hiddink maintains his team will be going all out for a win: “It will be a 50-50 game because they have the same style, they like to attack as well, they have technically skilled players.
