But Carmen Electra? What can she tell contestants about their dancing? It turns out, not much, despite the long list of dance credentials she spouted at the start of the show

(CBS) The final 14 dancers showed their stuff to choreography by a new (new to SYTYCD, that is) group of artists on Wednesday night’s episode of the Fox summer hit “So You Think You Can Dance.” Pictures: “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 8 But all eyes may have been on the judges panel which included, of all people, Carmen Electra in a sheer, low-cut ensemble. I could see Debbie Reynolds last week; at least she was a tap dancer in her day. But Carmen Electra? What can she tell contestants about their dancing? It turns out, not much, 맞고게임 despite the long list of dance credentials she spouted at the start of the show. Her comments were filled with mindless generalities and sometimes she just repeated the comments of the other judges. Those other judges included former contestant and now acclaimed choreographer Travis Wall, whose comments were pointed and who almost always had helpful tips for the dancers. (And he also was wearing a very dapper purple velvet jacket.) Mary Murphy and show creator and producer Nigel Lythgoe completed the panel. Among the new choreographers were Justine Giles, Ray Leeper, and Chucky Klapow. While the dancing by the pairs showed various degrees of proficiency, it was the group works that stole the show. Wednesday’s episode started with a Justin Giles piece for the men about the stages...

Korea: Drought could worsen hunger crisisN

(AP) PYONGYANG, North Korea – Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh took the stage in North Korea during a concert for new leader Kim Jong Un, in an unusual performance featuring Disney characters. Performers dressed as Minnie Mouse, Tigger and others danced and pranced as footage from “Snow White,” “Dumbo,” “Beauty and the Beast” and other Disney movies played on a massive backdrop, according to still photos shown on state TV. The inclusion of characters popular in the West — particularly from the United States, North Korea’s wartime enemy — is a notable change in direction for performances in Pyongyang. Actors and actresses also showed off new wardrobes, including strapless gowns and little black dresses. In recent years, performances such as the “Arirang” mass games featured performers dressed as panda bears in homage to North Korean ally China. This appears to be the first time Disney characters have been included in a major performance, though Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse have been popular among children for 꽁 머니 토토 several years. Backpacks, pencil cases and pajamas imported from China often feature Disney characters, and stories such as “Dumbo” have been translated into Korean for North Korean schoolchildren. However, it is unusual to make such images a central part of a North Korean performance, and to publicize it on state TV. It was unclear whether the Disney characters were...

2What distinguishes “Bee Movie” somewhat is that it’s flooded with Seinfeld’s sense of humor — his trademark observations on the ridiculous minutiae of our daily lives

Enough already. There is zero life left in this concept, even if it does spring this time from the fertile mind and absurd sensibility of Jerry Seinfeld. A Charismatic “Gangster” Sound familiar? This DreamWorks Animation release shares almost the same premise as Pixar’s “Ratatouille,” in which Remy the rat left the safety and comfort of hiding with his family and picking through trash to become a gourmet chef in Paris. It’s an unfortunate coincidence, because clearly both films were years in the making. But the similarity serves as a reminder of the superiority of Pixar’s animated offerings — their substance, character development and heart. 2What distinguishes “Bee Movie” somewhat is that it’s flooded with Seinfeld’s sense of humor — his trademark observations on the ridiculous minutiae of our daily lives. That should keep his fans, and adults in general, relatively entertained. There are some cute lines here and there (and some amusing cameos from Sting, Ray Liotta and Larry King) but because “Bee Movie” is also for kids — who have never been the target audience for “Seinfeld” — bee puns all too often prevail. Barry, https://www.yfda0crxt.online a recent college graduate, could go work for the Honex Corp. alongside his nebbishy best friend, Adam (Matthew Broderick), making honey as bees have for millions of years. In a highly detailed set-up sequence, he learns he could be a heater, cooler,...

Telegram lets people exchange messages, stickers, photos and videos in groups of up to 5,000 people

MOSCOW — The Telegram encrypted messenger app said Tuesday said it would cooperate with investigators in terror probes when ordered by courts, except in Russia where it is locked in an ongoing battle with authorities. The company founded by Russian Pavel Durov has refused to provide authorities in the country with a way to read its communications and was banned by a Moscow court in April as a result. But in its updated privacy settings, Telegram said it would disclose its users’ data to “the relevant authorities” elsewhere if it receives a court order to do so, although not in Russia. “If Telegram receives a court order that confirms you’re a terror suspect, we may disclose your IP address and phone number to the relevant authorities,” Telegram’s new privacy settings said. “So far, this has never happened. When it does, we will include it in a semiannual transparency report,” the app added. Durov said the new privacy terms were adopted to “comply with new European laws on protecting private data.” But Durov assured his Russian users that Telegram would continue to withhold their data from security services. “In Russia, Telegram is asked to disclose not the phone numbers or IP addresses of terrorists based on a court decision, but access to the messages of all users,” he wrote on his Telegram channel. He added that since Telegram is illegal...
