He got clay all down his suit and hand prints.” Hill noted the couple also flew home on a commercial airline

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge dazzled this weekend in Southern California. From polo to shining with the stars, Prince William and his new bride, Catherine, had a full schedule for their one stop in the U.S. – their first official visit to the States. CBS News Royal Contributor Victoria Arbiter said on “The Early Show” the stop was an enormous success for the couple, as well as the British royal family as a whole. Pictures: William & Kate wrap up California tour “(The trip) really promoted their interests, put them right back at the forefront of media coverage, and so I think William and Kate can go home very happy, having also raised – early estimates are saying – $5 million for charity.” The trip to the U.S. included a polo match. William’s team won, and the prince himself scored four points. A good thing, too, according to Arbiter, because William is a “terrible, shocking loser.” “He’s very competitive, but he’s a good player, he and (his brother Prince) Harry,” Arbiter said. “I’m delighted to say his team did win. … It was nice for us, because Kate was presenting the prize, the Tiffany and Co. cup, which meant we did get to see a little royal kiss. We haven’t gotten to see one of those since the wedding day on the balcony.” “Early Show” co-anchor Erica Hill...

“I try in whatever show it is, to help people really celebrate who they are,” he said

Fashion guru Carson Kressley wears his heart on his neatly tailored, designer sleeve – and there’s no need for alterations because he’s a perfect  fit for Oprah’s OWN network. On June 25 he launched “Carson Nation” on OWN. Kressley is taking life lessons learned from Miss O on a quest to help people feel good about themselves and recognize their true potential. He travels across the country in his Winnebago to help deserving individuals with what he calls, “make-betters,” not make-overs. With TV inundated with make-over shows, Kressley insists “Carson Nation” isn’t like the rest. “These are real Americans dealing with real challenges,” he tells CBSNews.com. Whether they’re dealing with an illness, economic setbacks or a partner is going to serve in Afghanistan, Kressley says these situations are what make the show “incredibly relatable.” “And I come in there and sprinkle a little of my fairy dust and try to make their lives a little better and help to make them feel better about themselves,” he adds. Growing up in the “all-American” suburb of Allentown, Pa.,  as a gay teen who had flair for fashion early on (if parachute pants and shaker knit sweaters count!) Kressley knows what it’s like to feel out of place and be a victim of bullying. Yet, he also recognizes the power of transformation and finding peace and 아산출장만남 acceptance within oneself. “I try...

The Interior Ministry said al Qaeda was behind the bombing, which struck in the capital Sanaa. Security officials said 20 cadets were wounded, including three critically. They were leaving the Police Academy for a weekend with families when the bomber hit at the facility’s southern gate. The Interior Ministry identified the attacker as Mohamed Nasher al-Uthy from the province of Amran, about 45 miles northwest of Sanaa. It said he lost the lower part of his body in the blast and died of his wounds minutes later. No other details were provided. Twelve suspects were arrested in connection with the bombing, according to security officials. There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but al Qaeda’s branch in the impoverished nation on the southern tip of the Arabian peninsula frequently targets security forces. The capital was on high alert after the attack, with security forces setting up checkpoints around the city and searching cars. Security was also beefed up around embassies. The attack came after the army last month recaptured several militant-held towns in the country’s south, 의왕콜걸 following a months-long campaign to retake territory the militants seized...
