Arsene Wenger’s side have been heavily linked with a move for a centre-forward, with Monaco’s teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe and long-term target Alexandre Lacazette on the radar.

“Their priority, which had been well documented, as far as Arsene Wenger’s concerned was to sort his future out, that seems to be sorted,” he said on ITV.
“The next priority is Ozil and Sanchez signing new deals, if that’s going to happen then I think it makes the club more stable from that point of view.
“There will be a problem with the amount of money they’ve got to pay them, there’s always a wage structure at Arsenal. Can they afford the new wages?
“I think Arsene said at the end of last season that they don’t need that much as far as signings are concerned.
“That’s an interesting way to look at it because I juventus drakter med trykk think the way the squad is right now, there are certainly areas (that need improving).
“I think centre-back with the new three-man system, that’s an area they need to strengthen. Whether Shkodran Mustafi is the answer I’m not so sure.
“A central midfield player, a holding central midfield player that is at the standard that will do that job.
“They haven’t got one of them at the club at the moment.”
