Coutinho was wanted by Barcelona last summer but they failed to prise him away from Liverpool.
Liverpool rejected several bids for the Brazilian playmaker, including offers above £100million.
Barca remain interested in Coutinho but Balague maglia Juventus bambini says Liverpool still have no intention in selling him.
Barca midfielder Ivan Rakitic says he would welcome Coutinho at the Nou Camp.
Balague understands the Croat wanting Coutinho but says it is unlikely it will happen anytime soon.
“What he’s trying to say, this is interesting of course, is ‘bring quality players’, that’s what they want,” he said.
“But Liverpool don’t want to sell Coutinho, that’s where they stand right now.
“Barcelona are not very optimistic about the possibly of Coutinho going to Barcelona.
“Obviously they will try maglia Napoli bambini and they want to put an offer for Philippe Coutinho in January.
“But they’re thinking that it will not happen and probably won’t happen because Liverpool are saying the same as they did in the summer: we’re not interested in selling.”
