Cevahir Sky City, Skopje, Macedonia [FYROM]Kaizer Chiefs defensive midfielder, Willard Katsande, has revealed that coach Steve Komphela’s arrival at the club has motivated the players.

‘Salt & Vinegar believes that there is not much difference between Komphela and Chiefs’ former coach, Stuart Baxter, who was highly successful during his tenure at the Amakhosi.

The 29-year-old indicated that the transition Bayern München Fußballtrikot from Baxter to Komphela has been seamless and that the new coach’s motivational skills give the players an extra spark.

“Steve is a very good coach. You know, nothing much has changed from what we used to do last season. It’s just like a continuation,” Katsande told Soccer Laduma.

“He is a great motivator and he knows how to get the best out of his players. He tells the players to enjoy their game, while at the same time thinking about results and helping the team win. There is not much difference from what we were doing last season.”

The Amakhosi travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday to face SuperSport United in what promises to be a tricky league encounter.
