(CBS) Prince is no stranger to controversy. He courted so much of it that he called his fourth album “Controversy.” These days he’s stirring things up over two topics that have proved incendiary: Religion and his music.

3 months agoThe singer, who embraced religion fully and became a Jehovah’s Witness about a decade ago after years of Biblical references in his music, told The Guardian, “It’s fun being in Islamic countries, to know there’s only one religion. There’s order. You wear a burqa. There’s no choice. People are happy with that.”

He suggested people who aren’t happy with that are the kind of people who are never happy with anything.

Everyone has to change, but this is a guy who sang about losing his virginity in a barn and asked his critics, “Am I black or white? Am I straight or gay?” He wrote “Darling Nikki.” What happened?

Prince has always been off-beat. He changed his name to a symbol while he was battling with Warner Bros. over his recording contract and 영광출장안마 decided “Graffiti Bridge” was a good idea.

He’s been all over the news lately with a successful tour and his claim that he won’t record and release new music because of piracy on the Internet. In the same Guardian interview, he says, “‘I’m supposed to go to the White House to talk about copyright protection. It’s like the gold rush out there. Or a carjacking. There’s no boundaries.”  Because of the problem with piracy, he said, he has” no plans to record another album.”

The singer also has a habit of going back on many things (like his name change). At a concert in New Jersey in December, he told audience members to go ahead and get out their cell phones despite his widely  publicized  dislike of pirated music popping up on sites such as YouTube.
