The two were in New York for Tuesday’s annual Princess Grace Awards, which this year honored British actress Julie Andrews.

Named for the 53-year-old prince’s mother, Oscar-winning actress Grace Kelly, the gala raises funds for 칠곡콜걸 the U.S.-based Princess Grace Foundation, dedicated to identifying and assisting emerging talent in theater, dance, and film. The prince is vice chairman of the foundation.

His 33-year-old bride, a former Olympic swimmer from South Africa, wore a sparkly, sleeveless black lace Christian Dior gown to the star-studded gala sponsored by Montblanc.

Dressed in Valentino couture, actress Anne Hathaway, who played royalty in “The Princess Diaries,” presented the Prince Rainier III award to Andrews, her co-star in that film.

Jon M. Chu, director of “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,” was given the Princess Grace Statue Award. Prizes also were presented to 21 emerging artists in theater, dance and film.

Among those attending the gala at Cipriani 42nd Street were reality TV star Olivia Palermo and models Selita Ebanks and Petra Nemcova.

Earlier in the day the prince and princess met with foundation donors over lunch at Daniel, a mid-town restaurant, according to the New York Post. The princess wore a simple black dress and string or pearls to the lunch.

Albert, a former Olympian bobsledder who had a reputation as a playboy prince and confirmed bachelor, met the princess several years ago at an Olympic event in South Africa. The two were married in a three-day celebration in Monaco July 1-3.
