커닝 파퀘Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly planning to host a screening of “My Week with Marilyn,” the upcoming film starring Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe.

According to People magazine, the monarch will screen the movie at the palace. The Weinstein Company, which produced the film but would not confirm the royal screening, was reportedly given “rare permission” to film inside Windsor Palace.

The film focuses on Monroe’s time in England filming “The Prince and the Showgirl” in the summer of 1956. It was during that period that Monroe met the queen, the magazine notes.

Having British royals on celluloid has boded well for recent films. “The King’s Speech” won four awards at this year’s Oscars, including a best actor trophy for Colin Firth and a win for best picture.

That film told the story of Elizabeth’s father, King George VI, who overcame a crippling stammer as England braced itself for World War II. The current monarch, seen in the film as a young girl played by actress Freya Wilson, reportedly enjoyed a private screening of the film last year.

The queen’s allure helped another film strike Oscar gold in 2007, when Helen Mirren won the Academy Award for best actress for portraying her in “The Queen.”

“My Week with Marilyn” opens in theaters on Nov. 23.
