(CBS) Nick Cannon has bounced back after suffering from kidney problems in early January.

He returned to his 92.3 Now radio show this week, and on Tuesday, told listeners that he’s “feeling good” and is “100 percent.” A few follow-up visits with the doctor are in his future, but Cannon says he has recovered. But he may have to take some time out of his busy work and 김해콜걸 family schedule to relax.

“Because of this situation I know that I don’t need to go so hard,” said Cannon, who noted that he can’t “overdo it.” “It’s more about just my way of living … It’s really about taking some time.”

So what actually went wrong in Aspen, Colo. over the holidays?

In the days leading up to his hospital visit, Cannon was very short on sleep and started to feel sick. Then a few days before New Year’s Eve, he felt a sharp pain in his back. “They [doctors] thought it was kidney stones, then a kidney infection,” Cannon said. But it was more serious than that. “My kidneys weren’t functioning well,” he explained.

“We didn’t want to say ‘kidney failure’ so people would think I gotta get new kidneys and Gary Coleman and all that stuff, so we said ‘mild kidney failure,'” he added.

Cannon also talked about how the situation brought him even closer to his wife Mariah Carey.

“I’m happier than happy,” Cannon gushed. “Especially through this entire process, we’ve become so much closer … I even got a chance to see a different side of my wife where she became so nurturing. I’m in debt to her forever.”

In addition to his daily radio show, Cannon hosts “America’s Got Talent.” He also has small role on the sitcom “Up All Night,” does standup comedy and deejays parties.
