You can’t beat a football and wrestling cross-over, and there was another instance of the two worlds merging again on Tuesday night.
WWE staged Smackdown Live, their second show at the Manchester Arena on their jam-packed UK Tour, and fans spotted a fan’s sign that read: “Mo Salah, King of Egypt”.
The former Roma man has been in blistering form this summer, Fotballdrakter barn staking his claim for being the best signing of the season by scoring 11 goals and registering three assists.
He also scored the all-important penalty that sent Egypt into the 2018 World Cup, their first since 1990 – and one wrestling fan felt the need to pay tribute to him when Smackdown was on the air.

The sign follows on from previous efforts from fans, ranging from 'Wenger Out' to someone confessing their love for Bobby Zamora at Wrestlemania 32.
That wasn’t the only Liverpool reference for the fans in Manchester, though. A day fotballdrakter barn med prior, when the Raw brand took over the Manchester Arena, tag-team Sheamus and Cesaro, who had spent the day at Manchester City’s training complex with General Manager Kurt Angle, made their entrance wearing Liverpool home kits and received quite the negative reaction ahead of recapturing the Raw tag titles via a cheap win over Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
